Yacht Charters and the Luxury Life

Yachtstore recently developed a new interactive yacht charter database with over 800 yachts available in destinations around the world. The database allows users to plan their vacation live from the website choosing from wide variety of destinations, yacht types, number of guests, budget, and even search for specific yachts. With yachts ranging from modestly priced catamarans to power yachts and elite luxury mega yachts in destinations from Alaska to the Caribbean, the Mediterranean and exotic pacific islands; the vacation choices are almost endless.

Also, Daisy Ortiz Lenit has joined Yachtstore as a Charter Specialist for worldwide yacht charters. Daisy brings 18 years of marine industry experience including experience as a charter fleet manager at International Yacht Collection and Camper & Nicholson managing both sail and power yachts from 80 to 200 feet. Her in depth knowledge of the industry, charter yachts and destinations will be a key element to Yachtstore’s future growth and expanding the company’s offerings to customers. “We are very pleased to welcome Daisy to our Yachtstore Team. We trust that her extensive industry experience, contacts and reputation will make her a solid asset for Yachtstore and our clients,” said Michael W. Halstead, President and CEO of Yachtstore.

Some other experts claim that luxury yachting is only for the richs. But that’s generally not the case. For example, you can rent a yacht in the beatiful greece for less than $2000 per week. You can check out this site and this site for more information:

The Sri Lankan boat building is very well developed and recognised both locally and internationally with a large number of not only fishing vessels but also large luxury boats being exported. Demonstrating this international recognition, arrangements are already in place to hold the International Marina Group – The International Council of Marine Industries Association (ICOMIA) annual conference parallel to Boat Show at Pegasus Hotel, Wattala, during the exhibition days from 10 to 12 October this year.

More than 30 delegates and boating and marina business specialists from Europe, Asia and North America are expected to participate at the conference. Mr. Fernando said that the ICOMIA Conference would also bring in exposure to the Sri Lankan boat building industry and potential development of the marine sector in areas of tourism, fisheries and transport.

He said that they have exported a large number of fishing vessels to many countries the world over and their products are very popular and more and more people are visiting them to buy Sri Lankan made fishing and other vessels.
